Collaborative Working Nationally & Internationally

Parkinson Lane Community Primary School is very proud to hold the Accredited International School Award. This British Council award acknowledges the work that school includes in its curriculum with a global dimension. It recognises the value of working collaboratively both internationally and within the UK with schools that are culturally very different from ours i.e. small, rural schools. Through a variety of projects we aim to give our pupils and community an awareness of different cultures and countries, increase levels of empathy and tolerance and prepare them to be global citizens.
