Parkinson Lane Community Primary School
Summer School usually runs during the first week of the summer holidays. There are 3 groups who are split up during the first 3 days. One group will stay at school doing cooking, sports etc. While the other groups are either walking from Widdop, through Hardcastle Crags and down to Hebden Bridge, or are enjoying activities like laser quest, team building, dry stone walling and archery, at Hyacinth Farm. On the last 2 days of our summer school all the children camp up at Hyacinth Farm, where they can enjoy many more activities and finish off the week with a good soaking in pools. Our children will remember this exciting time for the rest of their lives and some even try and come back when they have left for high school. We always have our ex-pupils returning year after year.
